Listening With . . . Stephanie Pearl-McPhee Yarn Harlot Toronto, Canada "I listen to audiobooks almost all the time that other people might put on their music," says writer and knitter Stephanie Pearl-McPhee (also known as the Yarn Harlot). "While walking, while running, while driving long distances, or while knitting." Of course! "I never have to take my eyes off my knitting to look at my audio- book—it's the huge advantage over television for knitters." So what's her latest listen? "I looked for a nice, long, meaty series I could really get into. I settled on George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire. Since the theme of the first book is 'Winter is coming,' it seemed like perfect knitting fodder."—Jennifer M. Dowell 72 s AudioFile/www.audiofilemagazine.com
