We often talk about how the diverse opinions of our reviewer team—95 individuals at recent count—bring a breadth of inter- ests and points of view to AudioFile's reviews. So far this year we have reviewed more than 2,400 audiobooks that cover subjects ranging from John Muir's 19th-century observations of Yosemite's wilderness to Zadie Smith's personal essays; from a portrait of Congressman John Lewis to a cautionary history of California wildfires; from the examination of 1960s Kent State events for teens today and personal stories from the Japanese-American internment camps of the 1940s; from a rom-com romp to Tolkien's iconic hobbit. The variety and contrasts seem endless—but that, of course, is what we love about audiobook listening. This issue and our online presentation of 2020's Best Audiobooks hold many adventures and discoveries—listen on! And don't miss the special episodes of AudioFile's Behind the Mic podcast, on which we talk with the some of the narrators celebrated in this year's Best list. Another group that helps us get the word out is made up of writers and editors who collaborate with us to bring AudioFile's recommen- dations to their readers. We thank our partners who are sharing the AudioFile Best lists with the audiences of their blogs, articles, websites, and podcasts: Beth Fish Reads, The Big Thrill, Book Trib, Books & Sensibility, The Children's Book Review, The Digital Squeeze/ EBSCO, File 770, 5 Books, Lit Hub, Novel Suspects, Professional Book Nerds/Overdrive, Shelf Addiction, Shelf Awareness, Smart Bitches, Trashy Books. We are grateful to them for letting us bring the audiobook spin to the subject that most interest their audiences— whether that's fantasy, romance, or mystery. All of our partners explore reading and listening with passion—check out their ongoing features, and look for more of our collaborations throughout the year. With uncertain months ahead, queue up some great listening. And if the opportunity arises, you can help us get the word out—so tell friends and fellow audiophiles to check out our ongoing stream of audiobook recommendations.
