Jackson Leroi Widoff-Woodson comes by his love of books and audiobooks naturally—his mom is author Jacqueline Woodson, National Book Award winner and National Ambassador for Young People's Literature. (You can hear an interview between mother and son at the end of Woodson's audiobook Harbor Me.) A busy 11-year- old, Jackson Leroi likes that he can listen while traveling and on his commute to and from school. He's a big fan of audiobooks by Kwame Alexander and Jason Reynolds— so much so that he sometimes listens to the same audiobook several times. And he could teach all of us a lesson about how to listen carefully, because he's developed a system. "The first time I listen, it's to get to know the book. The second time, I listen to see if I've missed anything. And the third time, I listen just to enjoy the story." Genius! —Jennifer M. Dowell
