Grearson Jessie Grearson (Laini Taylor profile, page 56) is a freelance writer and a writing teacher living in Falmouth, Maine. A graduate of the Iowa Writers Workshop, she has co-authored two essay collections and is currently at work on a practical handbook on college essay writing. When not writing, teaching, or coaching her high school speech team, she can be found visiting lighthouses, searching for sea glass, or in her garden, dreaming up new recipes. S.J. Henschel Contributing Editor S.J. (Sandi) Henschel (Sullivan Jones profile, page 28) has made the Rochester, NY, area her home since 1972, and has performed with or directed for most of Rochester's leading theater companies. Sandi is the co-author of the children's musical, GOTTA DANCE! and she was a co-founder and the artistic director for the Hourglass Play Reading Series. Sandi also reads selections from AudioFile Magazine on Reachout Radio, a service for the blind and visually impaired, airing three times a week on PBS affiliate WXXI. Candace Levy AudioFile Contributing Editor Candace Levy ("5 Questions with Cassandra Campbell," page 33) is a full-time freelance book editor as well as a book reviewer and journalist. When she's not working, you'll inevitably find her listening to an audiobook while cooking, walking, making lace, or taking photographs. She was honored to be the 2016 Audio Publishers Association's Audiobook Blogger of the Year. Look for her "Take 5 with Candace" column on AudioFile's blog: Josephine Reed Josephine Reed ("In Conversation with Adriana Trigiani," page 18) is a compulsive listener of audiobooks. She was the program director of the book and theater channel on XM Satellite Radio where she created, produced, and hosted This is Audible and Writers on Writing. She also created, produced, and hosted the literary show On the Margin for WPFW, where it ran for 18 years. Jo hosts AudioFile's podcast, "Behind the Mic with AudioFile Magazine" ( podcast). Subscribe to hear episodes every weekday and bonus interviews with authors and narrators such as Adriana Trigiani, Maryrose Wood, and LeVar Burton. Tom Walken Contributing Editor Tom Walken ("Learning By Ear," page 52) began writing reviews for AudioFile in the mid-1990s while he was still practicing clinical psychology. His "Learning By Ear" column started a short time later with a set of reviews on parenting audios. He says the 2000-plus audios he's heard on personal growth and business topics have kept him current on how people can make their lives better and how work groups become more effective. From his adopted home in Raleigh, NC, the Baltimore native now works with entrepreneurs, evaluates executive candidates, and spends his free time cooking, playing music, and enjoying his friends and family.
